The Centre sees around 2000 people each month accessing our various services, and is open Monday to Friday from 9:00–16:30. With a team of 26 staff and the revolving help of about 40 volunteers, Scalabrini Centre offers services through seven main programme areas:
Paralegal Desk
Protecting, promoting and advancing the rights and freedoms of migrants and refugees
Accessing services for migrants and refugees in need
Women's Platform
Migrant women fight isolation by sharing opportunities and experiences and thereby
Child and Youth Care Centre
A registered Child and Youth Care Centre specialising in the care.
Employment Access
The Employment Access Programme supports foreign
English School
Providing a specialised English language school for refugees and migrants in South Africa
Unite Youth
UNITE works with high school students to build social cohesion
