The Help Desk assists clients in finding employment by offering support in the job application process. This service is available to foreign nationals with valid documentation, and also to South Africans. The service includes guidance in writing up comprehensive CVs, and applying for work online.
The Help Desk is open on Mondays for new clients to register and have their CVs created and from Tuesdays to Thursdays for returning clients with job applications. All days from 9am-12.
Each morning, job advertisements are made available and assistance is given in sending emails and making professional telephone calls, and fax applications. Additionally, we create email addresses for clients where necessary. For clients who are computer literate and able to apply independently, the Computer Lab is open on Monday and Wednesday mornings. Clients can also practise their typing and other Microsoft Office Suite applications during this time. Clients are encouraged to arrive early and conduct themselves in a professional manner that is in line with workplace etiquette.
