EAP’s Job Placement Service is a free service connecting employers to screened unemployed migrants and refugees.
The Job Placement Service is a pioneering initiative that strives to establish partnerships with employers in the Western Cape as a pathway to creating an enabling environment for jobseekers. The service is a comprehensive recruitment solution tailored to match the right candidate for the right job. It is offered at NO COST to both the employer and jobseeker.
We have an extensive database of skilled and experienced candidates ranging from entry level positions to skilled professionals with valid documentation.
All candidates attend Job Readiness Training [could be linked to skills training page] where self-image and interview preparation is taught.
Following this, Employability Interviews are conducted to determine their skills sets and readiness to enter the job market or recommend for further vocational training. To minimize the hiring risk, we also conduct at least 1 reference check per candidate.
We also provide administrative support for scheduling interviews with the candidates as well as assistance with on-boarding. Employers have the option of conducting the interviews at our premises.
If you need help to fill your available positions, contact EAP on email:
Job seekers can register at the Scalabrini Centre of Cape Town on Mondays to Fridays (9am–12pm).
If you are looking to fill a position in your company or in a personal capacity, contact our job placement team with your requirements and we will get back to you with suitable candidates who will meet your needs.
NB: All candidates are screened.
